Yesterday started my birthday week! And no I won’t talk age…
So a buddy of mine was going to spend the day on the beach with his family and invited me to join. We were up early for a Sunday morning and packed up the car for the beach.
I will say this about Florida, you are never that far from a beach! Got to the beach parking at 9:15am, found a prime spot, unloaded everything into a beach cart (lol) and dragged everything 100 yards or so down the beach (while the wife directed!).
I brought all the essentials, beach blanket for the kid, beach chairs for us, beach umbrella, cooler with beer and headphones (essential for peace and quiet).
I will say that Miami Beach does have its posers. It’s amusing to just people watch the sunshine selfies. Gaggles of girls posing alone while their friends take turns taking photos for instagram. Hey, here’s a novel thought, why don’t you just enjoy the beach instead of curating your social media thirst page!
